K-K-K-Kudos

Woodscotch is today.

Woodscotch always means the end of the S'n'S season, which is kind of sad. Then again, I'm in a few of the acts, there's going to be lots of happy people there, and membership cards, and t-shirts (or so my email just told me). I guess I have to come up with something as a board member for the new "inductees" to do. But I never know what. Oh well.

The Kudos Awards server went pretty well. I got a 96 as a grade for it (simply as a web app project) and it didn't really crash all too much after the first initial release. And aside from the fact that some people (2, as far as I can tell by posts on bboards) didn't realize what nominations were supposed to be, I think everyone was pleased by it.

I need to send my rent check out.

I like web apps. I could make them for a living, I think.

I've played a lot of board games in the past few days and done little (if any) work. Is that bad? Maybe. But it feels awfully good.

It looks like I'll be staying here over the summer. Working for WQED (volunteering, I guess, although I'll get to do meaningful web stuff - at least that's what they said), and doing some stuff on campus for money. Also looked at an apartment over in Squirrel Hill the other day, which looked pretty nice. It's a bit more expensive than my current house rent, but then again, I'm also not going to be paying for any expenses over there (other than electricity) or going to be covering anyone else in case they forget to pay the rent.

I should go shower.

But before I leave, I thought you should know that a class of less than 25 people (the Vietnam Film Festival class) spent just under $900 on dinner last night at Buca di Beppo. Which included something like 10 bottles of wine. It was divine.
