End of Everything!

So there was a five hour board meeting to discuss director's proposals for Homecoming. Little Shop of Horrors won in the end, and that's peachy. It's a good show, and I don't think anyone is angry about anything.

Katie is sitting here and she said I shouldn't use the word "won." I should say "passed." So Little Shop "passed." Anything Goes certainly didn't lose.

I haven't done anything about anything recently except for eat food a lot. And I just signed up for a summer radio show at WRCT. I'll play international music and talk a lot. That's what I did for my show that I started this past semester, except that I missed a show because I didn't sleep (and told the previous DJ that and he said that was OK), and then I missed the next week's. I felt bad about that one. Since I didn't really have an excuse.

I also might be signing a new lease tomorrow. There's this cute little place on Darlington that I looked at that's a one-bedroom with a small (well, tiny) kitchen and bathroom that suits my needs just about perfectly. It's about $525 a month, but
1) with all the bills I pay for the house, it might come out about even anyway to what I'm paying now and...
2) the landlord is this nice eldery Jewish lady who says I can do odd jobs for her (like, killing people with hats) and get a rent discount. Yay!

So exciting stuff abounds. Kennywood is tomorrow. Hopefully, I won't wuss out and only go on the water rides. I think Katie helped a lot with my whole roller coaster fear thing. I'm not really sure why I'm still kind of afraid of roller coasters since I went on some last year and they didn't really freak me out at all; they were just kind of fun.

Katie said she'd go on the coasters with Matt Heap, though. So now I have to go. To protect my woman. Either that, or start wooing Miss Gruner.

Anyway, I start at WQED on Monday at 9 AM. Excitement. I'm going to Steak & Shake with Darren. Excitement. I bought a DVD documentary about a spelling bee. Excitement. Well, maybe not for everyone on that last one.

Katie wants to check her email now. So I have to go.
