Not-so-secret santa
Here's the deal, Christmas Cats. I want to buy you a gift. I do. But I don't know what to get you, or, really, how much I should spend on you without both of us feeling awkward. I know you want to get me a gift, too.
So here's what I'm going to do.
Here is my Amazon wish list for this holiday season. You can get me something off of it. You don't have to get it from Amazon. You don't have to get something on the list (although, clearly, you know I'll like it if you do get it off the list). I mean, really, you don't have to get me anything at all, but this gives you the opportunity for one more gift exchange if that's your thing. If you do get me something, I will get you something for approximately the same value so neither of us feels awkward about the whole financial end of things. If you want, feel free to make your own wish list (on Amazon or else-where) so that I get you something you like instead of 3 Berenstain Bears books.
If you choose to get me something, let me know, so that I may start shopping for you (and take that item off the list). It's not that I really want lots of stuff this Christmas, but I think both of us getting something we both like from someone we appreciate will make us both happier in the end. Oh, and feel free to comment or call or email me and be like, "Dude! Put some cheaper stuff on your wish list instead of those stupid DVD box sets that you won't even watch more than once! Some of us are just college students!" - at which point, I'll start putting more paperback books and stationary on there.
Lastly, I updated my flickr page with some pictures from Thanksgiving. Not too many. If you want full access, friend me on flickr and I'll give you the key to my flickr city.
