Gobble gobble
The last post was keeping me busy, but now that it seems like the swarm of people wanting to know what I really thought about them has died down, I'm back to making normal entries.
This weekend was fun, if low-key. Friday was the big turkey party for Beej, which went well. Katie cooked up a hell of a turkey (and stuffing and pie) and everyone brought way too many desserts. Brian gave away bags of expired half-eaten chips. Courtney forgot to take her Kellogg's bowls home (and probably didn't even realize it until she read this just now). A good time was had by all, excepting perhaps the turkey.
On Saturday, Mike Yin came over and we played the Hobbit. Then, we tried to go to Longhorn, which was too crowded, so instead we ate at Popeye's, and got 10 biscuits. Delicious. We came back home, and Katie played Mario Kart and Super Monkey Ball with us before I then made Mike Yin play every single multiplayer PS2 game I own. Then he went home. Not too exciting of a day, and I'm afraid I always feel somewhat guilty when I spend that much time playing video games.
Speaking of games: I started playing Kingdom Hearts again; it continues to satisfy, even though I'm going through it a second time. Also, I've been playing Kingdom of Loathing and Urban Dead online - just some daily distractions. UD takes longer to get into because I can't seem to do that much each day except not get eaten by zombies, whereas I'm already a Level 3 Chill Crook in KoL with Goofball Withdrawal.
Sunday, we finally bought a trash can for our kitchen and went to eat at Longhorn with Posidriver and his girl (and Mike Yin again). That trip really deserves its own story, so I'll leave it be for now.
Katie's been house-sitting for her old landlord, so we've been going over there and watching their two cats and TiVo most days this week. Work is work, although the mad rush of the IMAGE and ESRI conferences are over. It gives me some time to perhaps do some long term projects like going through the user's manual and updating screenshots or trying to redesign the support site. A new shipment of soda came in today, so that's always exciting.
I uploaded some graduation pictures to Flickr. I should take more pictures overall, especially since my dad gave me his digital camera (for keeps). The touch up paint arrived this week, so maybe I'll try and give that a whirl this weekend while others are at Cedar Point!

Ha ha ... I found your secret blog! (Thanks, "Next Blog" button!)
Yes, fire up that camera and post some photos!
Not that I'm one to argue, but I'm pretty sure I specifically offered to drive back over, and Miss Court told me it wasn't worth it...
