A barbershop quartet sank the Titanic

Life is good. Rumors began (with me as director). I took Theresa to be my AD, Mike Yin is my SM, and Asian is my vision. Anyway, I like my cast and I think things have been going well so far. Blocking rehearsals begin today, and I hope I'm up to the challenge.

Midsemester grades came back, and there were no Cs, so I'm satisfied. After dropping two classes about two weeks ago, I've felt much more in control of my academic life. Seriously - how did I take 63 units a few semesters ago?

Although I sometimes scatterbrained about certain things (well, lots of things - job interviews, the workshops I teach, HCI homework, how I should spend money), I don't think I've hurt anyone with any of it yet. And that's good.

Today's going to be hectic. Board meeting, director's proposals, improv, rehearsal. I really liked Duel of Ages, I think.

This has really been a bunch of disparate thoughts, tied together only by the fact that they all are under the same blog title entry. I'm not a fan of that. I think I'll go back to my longer rambling style next entry. Something to look forward to.
